At Overhead Door Company of Akron, we’re hiring an Installer / Service Helper to work alongside experienced technicians installing and repairing garage doors. You don’t need years of experience — just a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and the drive to build a career.

If you show up, work hard, and take pride in what you do, we’ll teach you the rest.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be working side-by-side with our technicians on real job sites:

• Assist with garage door installation and repairs

• Help remove old doors and prep openings for new installs

• Hold, position, and secure materials during installs

• Set up tools, organize materials, and keep jobs running smoothly

• Clean up job sites and make sure everything looks right when we leave

• Travel daily to residential and commercial job sites

What We’re Looking For

• Strong work ethic and reliability

• Willingness to learn and take direction

• Comfortable working with tools and your hands

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment

• Valid driver’s license

No experience required — we’ll train you on the job
